OFFICIAL RULES
ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS. The 2009 Opening Day VIP Contest ("Contest") is open to all legal residents of Georgia age eighteen (18) years or older. Employees and their immediate families (spouses, siblings, children, household members and the spouses and children of the foregoing) of the Atlanta National League Baseball Club, Inc. d/b/a Rome Braves (the "Braves"), each of its respective parent, subsidiary, and affiliated entities, and each of their directors, officers, shareholders, employees, and agents (collectively the "Contest Entities") are not eligible to enter or win the Contest. By entering the Contest, participants agree to abide by all terms of the Official Rules and Regulations applicable thereto. Subject to all Federal, State, Local, and Municipal Laws and Regulations. Some restrictions apply. Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
HOW TO ENTER. The Contest will begin at 12:01 a.m. on August 28, 2008 and end at 11:59 p.m. on November 30, 2008. To participate in the Contest, participants must submit a completed contest entry form at www.romebraves.com. Participants can enter as many times as they wish. The Braves are not responsible for misdirected, incomplete, lost, late or illegible entries or other errors or problems which may limit a participant's ability to participate in the Contest. False or deceptive entries or acts will render the entrant ineligible.
PRIZE. One (1) Winner shall receive a prize pack and four (4) VIP club level seating tickets to watch the Rome Braves 2009 Opening Day home baseball game in Rome, Georgia. Total value of the prize is valued at approximately Eighty Dollars ($80.00). No substitution or transfer of Prize or cash redemptions permitted by Winner. The Braves reserve the right to substitute any Prize of like value in the event the described Prize or any portions thereof, are unavailable for any reason whatsoever. Winner is fully responsible for any and all applicable federal, state, international and local taxes. All costs and expenses not specified herein, related to the Prize, including but not limited to lodging, transportation costs, meals, taxes and gratuities and other expenses incurred by accepting the Prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner. Winner may waive his or her right to receive the Prize (i.e. decline the Prize).
WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION. One (1) Winner will be randomly chosen by the Braves on or after December 1, 2008, from all eligible entries received by the dates specified above. The odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Winner will be notified by telephone and/or e-mail within three to five (3-5) days of the drawing. Failure to reach Winner during these calls and/or e-mails may result in disqualification of Winner, forfeiture of his or her interest in all Prizes, and selection of a substitute Winner from among all remaining eligible entries. Decisions of the Braves with respect to the Contest are final and binding in all respects.
CONDITIONS. By participating in the Contest, the Winner consents to being solicited by the Braves in its ticketing and marketing endeavors, and consent to having his/her name, voice, or likeness used, without obligation, in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this Contest without additional financial or other compensation. By entering, participants agree to release the Braves, and each of its corporate parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, and each of their directors, officers, shareholders, employees, and agents harmless against any and all liability claims or actions of any kind whatsoever arising directly or indirectly for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, use of the Prize, or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to any Prize-related activity. The Braves, in its sole discretion, reserve the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including but not limited to, infection by tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort, or acts of God. Braves will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to the Contest.
