Dogs Bite Braves
Rome, GA – The Charleston Riverdogs took a bite out of the Rome Braves
Thursday night 10-2 before a crowd of 2,486.
The Riverdogs took an early lead scoring a run in the first inning on a sacrifice
fly by Brandon Laird. Rome took a 2-1 lead in the third on a two run double

the game the very next inning on a sacrifice fly Dave Williams.
In the sixth the Riverdogs took the lead for good with six runs highlighted
by a run scoring double by Bradley Suttle, an RBI single by Justin Snyder, and
a three run homer by Dave Williams for the 8-2 score. Charleston added two additional
runs in the eighth to make the score 10-2. Rome pushed two runs across in the
ninth but it was too little too late as Charleston gets the 10-4 victory.

loss for Rome.
